This made sense back when Spell Parry only worked on the spells that you knew, but nowadays you can parry spell that you don't know. My chap has never learnt an electric spell so can hardly be "intimately familiar" with the spell.

Not really? Text can be changed where you are, it's probably just not coded that way currently.

Not really? Text can be changed where you are, it's probably just not coded that way currently.

To elaborate: It's a limit Bob put in place which admins have to comply with.

I realized that I didn't set my Explorer w/Adv Thrown Weapons character to Male, as I had intended. So I did that just now. I got the following:
"Personal description and gender preferences for for Explorer w/Adv Thrown Weapons have been saved. Your preferred gender is Male and will be reflected on your next respawn. The personal description should now read:"
And then the Return to Game button. I'm pretty sure the description wasn't intended to be "Return to Game", but just looks that way because I have no personal description. I think the last line of the text should be removed when that's the case. |

Word trivia: "jerry-rigged" (1959) is most likely formed from "jury-rig" (1788) colliding with "jerry-built" (1869). Every time I see this in-game, my brain wants to call it a typo. So yeah, maybe 50+ years ago it was a typo, but 50-year-old typos are words. I guess maybe language is permitted to change, I don't know, kids today, I can't even. |
