The contest has now ended!
Patchy the Pirate is our last surviving contestant in the arena, having slain the last of his opponents! However, the most kills were scored by Cerce, whose eleven kills were by far the most of any contestant! That makes these two characters our winners and both are eligible to claim the prize.
Thanks to everyone who participated and made this event come alive!

As you can see I had to actually wait for two ticks to re-summon the pet and continue the "fight". I was planning to continue re-summoning the pet and slowly wearing them off, but near the next AP tick the situation changed drastically:

Since I was still invisible and (at least for the moment) ignored, and I also had a really good view at Cerce's stolen uberpets, I decided to just play it low - there was a slight chance that Cerce will get bored and wanders away before my invisibility wears off (with my stats it was probably a guaranteed instakill on first tick the pets notice me).
I bluffed a bit on Discord, mostly to try to guess if Cerce really did not notice my character or just decided to spare me, but finally I just went to sleep because it was already really late at my time zone.
As I already expected I woke up to bad news:

Somehow, at night, I managed to find 4 people I could eliminate. I remember finding Sweedee outside, must have gotten her invisibility revoked. The other 3 were inside lit buildings, so they were easy to find. I noticed Bob Ross (seraph) sitting outside, and did not have the energy nor the resources to take him out easily, so I hid in a power plant and went to sleep.

I thought I found a good spot to rest, (I didn't realize that lit buildings were dangerous, and spent most of my time hiding in them), but it turns out standing visible in a lit building will only attract competitors. Accidentally went feral of Tamamo when they just came in to talk, but to be honest I probably would have killed them regardless Dot came in soon after, and started attacking me. I fought back and she ran outside, potioned up, but it was not enough to stop Patchy.

Just when I thought I had found some peace and quiet, I'm minding me own business heating up some chicken soup, and Nightwielder runs in. (I was "hiding" in a lit building ) We have a short scuffle that results in me exhausting my MP , and I did not have any MR potions. All I came with were 12 XI, 7 healing, 6 strength and 3 or 4 GI. I found rare potions I couldn't identify so took my chances drinking some, they were not MR sadly. If Nightwielder came back, I wouldn't have an alternate damage type to defend myself! I'd be dead! And at this point, there were only 4 or 5 competitors left, so any attempts to hide/be invisible would quickly wear off, so I decided to just wait inside the lit building hoping no one would find me visible.

Of course Vesbia found me again! Patchy doesn't listen to common sense and still rests in lit buildings. We had a fun exchange, and Patchy later found a book that would be better to store a rose in than a can

I decided that enough was enough, Cerce had just slain Vesbia and we were the only 2 left. I needed to find her and kill her before she could regain her strength. I was terrified because there were so many places she could be, but I decided to only check inside the unlit buildings to conserve my AP (there were many lit buildings, and when i started searching at first, I was at full AP and MP. I was really nervous because I was approaching the end of the plane and with only so many unlit buildings left, my chances of finding Cerce were slim. I mean, what would the chances be that she was conveniently on the opposite side of the plane from me? I had around 30ap left at this point, so I was plenty worried at my chances of ending the tournament without dying.

What luck! When I was nearing the end, I finally stumbled upon her, in the same spot where she had killed Vesbia. I chugged a mystery potion which turned out to be a CC along with a Strength, and went to work punching her lights out.
This post lasted way too long, much like the competition, but I enjoyed it nonetheless
