I've returned from a particularly long stint in the void to see not only that I'm somehow leader of the
Mages' Council, but also that this historic faction has fallen from its former glory pretty hard.

This cannot stand. The second thing, I mean.

Anyway, onto the pitch: Any transcended spellcasters (or characters planning to be) are welcome to join us. We've got a snazzy new stronghold too, and a discord server! If you've ever secretly wanted to be a hermit, you'll fit right in. Or even if you haven't really.

On a totally unrelated note, any applicants who profess an interest in death magic will be receiving priority for admission from now on.

At least they would if we weren't open to all comers.
