Now would be the time to make them. While I have most of the classes' alpha skillsets planned out, the major work of implementing skills is mostly done (I am now "filling in the cracks" so to speak), there is nothing to say the skillsets cannot be expanded in beta.

However:

1. Mortal skills must be VERY good for consideration. Note that there are two planned but not-yet-implemented mortal skills (including Lockpicking).

2. Consider carefully Tier 2 skills. While it is not a requirement that every Tier 2 skill be useful for every character type (e.g., Blood Claws isn't great for a non-hand-to-hand character, and Blood Taste is worthless for a non-melee, non-hand-to-hand character), it is generally a good idea to angle suggestions toward those that would be useful for all members of the Tier 2 class.

3. There is still some flexibility in the final Redeemed and Fallen skills, so finding things in-character for those classes and submitting them as skill suggestions may get your suggestion on the fast-track for approval.

As far as weapon trees go, remember that every tier 2 class has at least 1 tier 3 exit which can specialize in whatever weapon the character is using. In other words, if you pick 1 combat tree, there will always be a tier 3 exit (no matter what your tier 2 class is) which has skills to support that weapon tree.


For currently existing skills, here is the breakdown:


Defiler exits:

Wyrm Master - Thrown/H2H
Corruptor - Melee/H2H
Dark Oppressor - H2H/Firearms
Redeemed - Thrown/H2H/Archery




Pariah exits:
Doom Howler - Thrown
Infernal Behemoth - Melee/H2H
Void Walker -
Redeemed - Thrown/H2H/Archery

Need: Firearms


Sorcerer exits:
Elementalist - H2H
Lich - H2H/Archery
Wizard -

Need: Firearms, Melee, Thrown.



Myrmidon exits:
Nexus Champion - Archery/Thrown
Eternal Soldier - H2H
Revenant - Melee/H2H

Need: Firearms


Shepherd exits:
Advocate -
Archon - Thrown
Lightspeaker - Archery
Fallen - Melee/Firearms

Need: H2H


Paladin exits:
Holy Champion - Thrown/H2H
Divine Herald -
Seraph - Throwm/Melee
Fallen - Melee/Firearms

Need: Archery





Overlap is acceptable, but it is preferred to try and keep the number of choice weapon trees per class down to 2 at the most.
