So I've been a pretty haphazard sorcerer so far, levelling with engineering and Holy Books. I just hit level 20 and I realized I have no spells and no idea what I want my T3 to be.
Quote:
1 10 Engineering
2 10 Repair Item
3 10 Search
4 10 Sense Morality
5 0 -- Saved --
6 20 Planar Protection
7 10 Sense Magic
8 10 Strength
9 0 -- Saved --
10 20 Heal Self
11 0 -- Saved --
12 40 Mystic Vigor
13 20 Sorcerer's Might
14 20 Infuse
15 20 Psychometry
16 20 Spellcraft
17 20 Structural Engineering
18 0 -- Saved --
19 0 -- Saved --

I have no idea why I have Repair Item, but I feel like I have to take up the Smithing tree just to justify the purchase. If I'm going to take up Smithing, should I become a Wizard and start enchanting stuff? I don't think I have the CP left to become a hardcore Seal Magic user. Should I get Bowyer instead, pick up the Archery tree and become a Lich? I don't see why I'd need Bowyer though, what with the innate bow. Should I cut my losses with the whole Repair Item thing and become an Elementalist? I've been levelling reading Holy Books lately so I have gems for every element except bludgeoning, which I gave to a factionmate who intends to be an Elementalist of that type.

Out of your three choices I've only played a bowyer lich. They are good fun though and seem more rounded than the support class I played in NW.
Getting Bow of Sinew and Servitor of the grave will make the char raid worthy. Soul harvest will only increase the effectiveness though I have yet to purchase the skill (it's next on my shopping list).
If you do get the Sinew Bow you still won't have a use for your repair item skill as the bow does not degrade.

Oh, lichs pets are great for defending and if you are short of ap when raiding then spawning a couple of ghouls will clear most things in their way in short order.

Negatives, no travel skills (as yet) though they can use potions from T2.

Repair item is always useful, especially since CP badges got put back in.
