These are bugs that we're already aware of, as well as the status of what we're doing about them. Please don't make new threads in the forum about these bugs. This list will be updated as bugs are patched.

Sometimes characters experience unusual effects if they do actions sufficiently simultaneously with one another, or precisely simultaneously with a game tick. Status: The vast majority of our apparent bugs are this issue in one form or another, which has to do with hosting and the basic structure of how the game is coded. Many of our bug fixes have addressed the side effects of this e.g. being charged twice for two simultaneous respawns but fully resolving this issue will involve structural changes in how the basic system of the game works.
Under some circumstances, if a character is killed by a Pet their death will sometimes fail to process correctly. They will die but will not receive notification that they were killed. They will not summon a Sires of Retribution pet if they are in Sires, their killer will not get Desecration rewards if the killer is a Defiler, nor explode if they have Explosive Murder. Their pets will not despawn nor will they lose status effects. Status: The dev team has identified and resolved the most likely issues in which this bug was observed to occur. It is being kept on this list because of how problematic it was in the past. Please let us know if you still encounter it; we are quite interested in fixing any other common condition that is found to cause this bug.
Apostrophes and special text characters keep getting replaced with random characters. Status: This is an ongoing and deeply entrenched bug with how the game platform works; unfortunately, there isn’t an obvious solution to it. We’ve tried to steer clear of using apostrophes in text that you can receive in game whenever possible. Dashes sometimes also have this problem, albeit less frequently. In the long run we plan to move past the code platform type that causes this bug.
Apostraphes in pet and faction names lead to people not getting notifications on various things. Status: This is similar to the random-characters apostraphe issue. This is an issue caused by the framework in which the code is based. The framework we are using for coding the next Breath has a working solution to this issue, but it isn't possible to solve it in the current Breath.
Characters sometimes get a message telling them that a status effect that they didn’t actually have just ended, or that another character who was not actually present lost a status effect whose end is visible to the room (e.g. invisibility or flying). Status: We’re not actually sure; the most likely explanation is that another character somewhere else in the game world actually lost that status effect and you erroneously received a copy of the notification that they received at the same time. It’s annoying, but it isn’t actually hurting anything and the lack of identifiable causes makes it impossible so far to reproduce this bug in order to pin down a cause.
