Instead of just having 'chalk on a wall' everywhere, i'd like if certain items could be crafted or found that allows that wall to be changed.
Certain items include chalkboards, store marquees, posters, and banners.
Each item has its own weight (usually very heavy), and can be installed for 1 AP.
Each item has its own HP value too (befitting its object properties).
You cannot install a writing medium in a foreign stronghold.
Any mediums set up in a stronghold are immune to damage for up to 18 hours after the stronghold is destroyed (including the time when the tile is still a stronghold).
Mundane Mediums are written on with any currently possible writing implement. Store Marquees can have their message changed freely, but only when the tile they are on has power (they will still display their message if the power is cut). _________________ "Everybody is a genius. Could be nice if we would be able to spend X renown to protect the message board of our choice.
Hey, it's not always a wall! Sometimes it's a rock.
That said, could be cool, especially now that we have these wonderful colours to play with. I'm always in favour of more things to do with/to chalk.
Would it function like an "extra" writing space if set up (so ie. if someone sets up a chalkboard, can write once on the wall and once on the chalkboard) or still only once? _________________
