Well I have no idea what this really means (or why it didn't kick in during our tie yesterday?) but surely if all of town vote the same way (and nobody else) we can still trigger it because that would be exactly half of the votes..?

I suppose I should have mentioned, but yesterday the non-voting players' votes were converted to No Lynch at the deadline. A tie occurs when three of six votes are on the same person and the other three votes are on the same other outcome (No Lynch, being a single outcome for these purposes). All other voting patterns constitute a majority (resulting in a lynch) or a failure to reach majority (resulting in a No Lynch).

In golden voting mode, we move to simultaneous public ballot. This means that everyone will have some period of time to send me one vote privately. Once all ballots are received, the results are placed publicly in the thread and the day is concluded. Failure to reach majority (four votes for the same person, today) in this mode results in a No Lynch.

Eh, with voting working like that No Lynch really is the only real viable action at this point.
