TLDR - I want to make a Nexus Clash shirt. If you want one, let me know here - https://www.strawpoll.me/20936747

I've been toying around with the idea of a Nexus Clash t-shirt... if we can get a decent number of orders together for a group buy, the price would be significantly reduced. I have a tentative design I'm working with right now that will be the map panel in the center of a short-sleeved t-shirt. It will likely not be of any area actually in the game, as I would like for it to have lots of representative iconography (leylines, strongholds, glyphs, several different tile types, etc.) and several different tile colors. That has proven a bit difficult to produce organically, so I'm just going to make it up Very Happy

Here is a mock-up of the shirt design, though the map panel in the mock-up is not one that I will be using for the actual shirt. I'll post an update when I make progress with that.

As for gauging interest, I've created a StrawPoll where you can vote. Individual shirts with the vendor I'm currently looking into are approximately $18 + $7 shipping for a total of about $25. If we can get to 10 orders, the shirts are $14 a piece. 20 orders, the shirts are $11 a piece. The vendor (Spreadshirt) ships internationally, so destination shouldn't be too much of an issue.

There's currently no deadline or anything, but please let me know if you're interested soon so that I can start figuring things out. I will be buying one for myself to test the quality of the shirts in the next few days once I get a decent design together that I would be happy to wear (whether or not it is the final design).

marked yes

y'know when I first saw the 5x5 map design I didn't like it, and would have preferred something with the class symbols or something, but I've warmed up to it. As a dumb shirt I'd only wear at nerd conventions anyway, something weird that sticks out is fine

yeah I clicked yes as well! I think the 5x5 with some of the significant buildings/ signs (SH, ley line, etc), is cool, and would prefer it to just the Class symbols.

It looks unique, and counter to standard 'gaming' tops.

That was kind of what I was thinking. It's highly representative of NC, and it doesn't seem generic like using class icons. I got sidetracked with day job and personal life stuff (wat?!) but I'm hoping to get time this weekend to get back to tinkering with the design. I do want a good number of recognizable icons and tile types on the map without it feeling too cluttered.
